About Music Rayy
āPrince George’s County native Music Rayy, known for his electrifying live saxophone performances, is a multifaceted artist whose musical journey has been shaped by a rich upbringing in jazz. His early exposure to legends like Miles Davis, Chuck Brown, and Shirley Horn, thanks to mentorship from the late Mrs. Floyd and Mr. Maurice, sparked a lifelong passion for music.
Rayy, a graduate of UMBC with two B.A.s in Music Technology and Jazz Studies, along with a Master’s in the Art of Teaching, has continued to evolve as an artist. Over the years, he has experimented with multiple musical projects, including his experimental RnB ventures under the name RFLN. His debut single, “Persuasions in Georgia,” at 18 years old, was a pivotal moment in his career.

Having shared the stage with notable artists and Djs such as Marcus Johnson, Funsho from The Voice Season 24', Dj DavyJTheVirgo, DJ Oowwee, DJ Flow, DJ Oxygen (DJ for Notorious B.I.G), IDK, Gogo bands ABM, BYB, and New Impressionz, etc... Rayy’s extensive performance history across the Washington D.C. and Baltimore areas has further established his reputation. From his early projects to his recent release under I Bet It Buzz titled, "Love Em' or Leave Em' The Fourteenth Album, his ability to blend genres and innovate in both jazz and experimental music has captivated diverse audiences.

Rayy continues to evolve as an artist, IT/AV professional, educator. He is focused on creating saxophone-centered content for his media and production collective, “Just Vibe @justvibeofficial,” and has plans for more musical projects in the near future. His dynamic artistry, from live performances to studio productions, continues to inspire and engage listeners of all backgrounds.
